A member asked:

What can one do to address retrograde amnesia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Just let it go: Amnesia is the loss of memory concerning an event. If there is loss of memory for a period of time before the event, it is called antegrade amnesia. If there is loss of memory for a period after the event, it is called retrograde amnesia. There may be some recovery of memory over time, but often there is permanent loss of memory, especially retrograde. This can be a protective effect.
