Amnesia: can be very unsettling so some anxiety and perhaps depression can be secondary to that condition. As one adjusts or the amnesia resolves so will the mood issues. Personality changes are another matter. Please see a clinical psychologist for as eval and peace of mind. Peace and good health.

Explanation : The same reason that causes retrograde amnesia cause the others symptoms like mood swing, headache , personality changes...... We do not call this "side effect"

Retrograde Amnesia: I can't be sure but I strongly recommend your Primary doctor refers you to a Psychologist.. That doctor will carefully discuss items with you and more than likely she/he will tell you all that is needed to start discussing Retrograde Amnesia. I hope you make that appointment and would appreciate it if you could have the Psychologist send me some information.
