A member asked:

If my cbc, stool culture & urinalysis comes back negative does that mean i have no urinary tract infection?

No: Urinalysis (ua) is a 2 part test that uses a "dipstick" test and also microscopic examination of the urine. Ua results can suggest a urinary tract infection (uti), but the most specific test is a urine culture (ucx) test. This test takes 48 hours to get a final result. The best way to diagnose a UTI is to interpret the results from both ua and ucx.
