Bunion pain is not: Easy to relieve. If it is literally pain from pressure on the bump, wearing shoes which are wide enough and soft in the uppers can help. If there is a bit more damage and the pain is on the joint line and arthritic, there's not a great deal you can do except endure what you can until you decide to have the problem surgically corrected.

Pressure off: Wear shoes that do not touch the bunion. Take an anti-inflammatory.

Several things: Make sure you are wearing a wide, soft shoe that does not press on the big toe. Soak in some luke warm water with epsom salt. Apply a bunion pad to keep pressure off the bunion. Try using some topical deep heat medication to the area.

Bunions pain: bunions can be very painful due to the severity of the deformity, You can try to soak them with Epsom salt and warm water, massage them with an analgesic cream for pain and use salon pas patch for pain. If these don't help see a Podiatrist who can inject the area with an anti inflammatory or plant based injectable for the pain. You can also take an oral anti inflammatory.

See the podiatrist: See the podiatrist. Question: does it hurt and does it impact your daily activity? Conservative treatments focus on getting rid of the irritation at the bunion that cause the joint inflammation at the site. Topical, oral and injectable medications, orthotics and shoes may be used. If surgery is needed, procedures depend on the severity of the deformity. Individual assessment is key!
