UTIs: Are caused by bacteria moving from teh vagina or GI tract up into the urethra and into the bladder, preg makes you more likely to get one, hopefully you are not wearing unclean shorts whether you are preg or not, i assume your OB is treating you, cranberry pills can help prevent utis but ask your OB if that is ok for you.

Possibly: I would recommend changing shorts and underwear daily to help prevent this from happening. Especially if you are often sweating or very active when weather is warm. Make sure to finish treatment your dr gives you as well.
