Urinary frequency: Urinary frequency in large quantities can be caused by diabetes or glandular disorders such as pituitary or parathyroid gland disorders. Ultrasound of kidneys will probably show no causative abnormalities. An endocrinologist or nephrologist is best qualified to evaluate you. Frequency is common in pregnancy and urinary infections but usually in small amounts.
