Many: Omega 3 fatty acids are also referred to as fish oil though not all are from fish and as essential fatty acids. The term essential means the body needs it but it must be obtained fro the diet. Omega 3's can help the body stabilize cholesterol and triglycerides and helps the nervous system work properly.
