A member asked:

Ok i have low phospherous levels and now blood test saying extremely low vitamin d. can that be cause of the low phospherous issue and can chronic diarrhea cause the d deficiency?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be: Low vitamin d is extremely common and easily correctable by oral supplementation. Diarrhea may aggravate vitamin d deficiency. Low vitamin d may alter calcium and phosphate metabolism. It would be helpful to discuss all of these issues with your doctor.
