May need ceramide...: Certainly if you have not recently visited your dermatologist you may not be aware of the importance of ceramide moisturizers such as cerave or aveeno (oatmeal) eczema cream among others. Furthermore, there are multiple reasons for "flares" that may also trigger a more angry& resistant eczematoid eruption. Your dermatologist may need to "blast" the inflammation with a stronger than usual short term steroid.
