Diet and Less Exerci: Without knowing all aspects of anyone's situation, we are big on recommending things to decrease metabolic stress that we think is responsible for the dramatic increase in fertility problems. Aside from start trying at a young age, pursuing a very low carbohydrate high fat diet is the answer for diet. Aerobic exercise is perceived as stress to the body so stop this and focus on resistance train.

Good timing: Assuming a 28 day cycle, daily intercourse from about day 8 through 16 should give you your best chance. You should be taking folic acid, eating a balanced diet, avoiding alcohol and smoking, and getting plenty of sleep.

Ovulation: Dr honore provided an excellent response. Additionally, some women use an ovulation predictor chart or an ovulation predictor kit to help pinpoint the time when they will be the most fertile.

Fertility ?'s: First get a semen analysis from your partner. Second, ask your gyn physician about a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) to determine if your tubes are open, the most common cause of infertility. If the preceding is normal, get an ovulation test to show when you are most fertile, and have sexual relations the days after the test is positive.
