Watch cycles: If you have normal 28 day cycles, then you should ovulate on cycle day 14, when cycle day 1 is the first day of your period. Your most fertile time is a day or two before ovulation (cycle day 12 or 13). Your estrogen level is very high, and it makes your cervical mucus thin, allowing sperm to get though to fertilize the egg. You may notice an egg-white discharge, which is a good sign.
