A good idea: If symptoms change or progress in a patient initially diagnosed with fibromyalgia, it is always wise to recheck for another, autoimmune disorder. Many autoimmune conditions are very hard to diagnose at first, but later progress to new symptoms that point to the correct diagnosis.
