Maybe: Any time you reduce or stop estrogen you can have estrogen withdrawal bleeding. Because of you age, however, it is recommended that you at least get an endometrial biopsy to make sure nothing else is going on. If there was Progesterone in the pills it may protect you, but better safe than sorry! tell your doctor.

Depends: It is not uncommon to have spotting when manipulating hormones, however postmenopausal bleeding is not normal. Many women with bleeding after menopause will need and ultrasound and either and endometrial biopsy or D&C to determine the cause. Speak to you md about your current symptoms.
