Diabetes and Food: I think the simple answer is no. But, when you look at these specific items in your list there are things that are lower in carbohydrates like the yogurt and the avocado. But, in each person with diabetes, the answer may vary based upon how well controlled their blood sugars are. The goal is to eat more protein and less carbohydrates. That means less sugars, less fruits and less carbs overall.
