Not happy: Absence of happiness is ahedonia. This is common in young depressed pts. Irritability, aggressiveness, being withdrawn, oppositionality, tantruming, sleep disruption, poor eating, and sadness. If you suspect your child has depression, see your pediatrician for medical evaluation & referral if necessary.
