Unfortunately, no: While there are no cures for als, there is one medication (rilutek) that has been shown to slow the course of the disease. There are also many treatments that can help to manage the symptoms and complications of als. I highly recommend enrolling in a multidisciplinary ALS clinic to make sure you are receiving optimum care.
