A member asked:

Is it possible for me to have colon cancer earlier than grandparent who had it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anything possible: It is possible, but it depends on the age that your grandparent had cancer and if you have a familial mutation. If your grandparent was elderly and there is no sign of a strong family history it is no more likely than the average person.
