Personal differences: A high or "vaulted" palate is not uncommon. It is not ideal though, and can be associated with airway issues, and and dental/orthodontic bite problems. Talk to your dentist or an orthodontist who can advise you.

Depends: Can be from nasal obstruction, thumb/finger habit, genetic, congenital malformation. Have ENT check airway. Imperative that you see orthodontist to evaluate side-to-side relationship of upper to lower jaw and to check occlusion. Never too early to have this checked.
