How long are the side effects and symptoms of propylthiouracil supposed to last?

Depends on side effc: Side effects such as skin reaction and joint pain tend to resolve within 1-2 weeks from cessation. Bone marrow suppression can take a bit longer. Liver damage however can be irreversible. Please talk with your doctor if you are experiencing any usual symptoms.
