Depends on Symptoms: If you are not bothered by it; then no treatment is necessary. It doesn't necessarily get worse. If it is bothersome, then non-surgical options such as a pessary, pelvic floor physical therapy and weight loss (if needed) can help. There are a number of surgical options as well and the surgical approach should take into account other symptoms, sexual function, vaginal prolapse etc.
