A member asked:

Wouldn't annual full-body mri's be a good preventive practice to help identify potential diseases before symptoms show, when it's often too late?

May not be a good : Why is it not a good idea? Mri is expensive. Not all diseases can be identified by mri. There is no one modality that you can do on a regular basis for preventive purposes. Medicine is so complex that we have to make decisions depending on various factors, symptoms, signs, clinical exam, laboratory reports, radiology tests, surgical explorations etc. Hope that answers your question.
