Neck Rash: If you are on a new medication it could be allergy. Also, contact dermatitis (allergy) with something you are wearing, your sheets, necklace, etc... Try to figure out if there is something you are in contact with that is new. Topical "anti-itch" creams can be helpful while figuring out the cause of the problem. See your doctor if it spreads or is associated with other symptoms. Hope this helps!

Depends on the cause: There are many things that could cause the skin to itch. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
