Md -re-eval: You may just have localized muscle spasm that frequent ice packs and muscle relaxants might help, if not you may need to let your surgeon know. A ct scan or MRI eval may be ordered by your surgeon/pain management doctor to eval surgery site.

Give Time: It is early in your post-op recovery. The xlif removes the disc from a lateral position. Hopefully you did not have lateral or foraminal stenosis on the opposite side. Talk to your surgeon. Give your self time. If the pain persist, then further diagnostic studies will be needed.
