Headache/Pregnant: Standard over the counter headache medications are typically fine to take at the recommended doses during pregnancy. If headaches are persistant, worsening, or are associated with any other symptoms, if would be a good idea to check in with her ob. Stay well hydrated (normal fluid intake) and eat a normal diet with a balance of nutrition as well.

Tylenol+reglan, rest: Depending on how far along she is in her pregnancy, this could be a symptom of preeclampsia and merit prompt expert care to avoid serious complications. If she is in the first half of pregnancy, consider Reglan 10 mg with tylenol (acetaminophen) 1000 mg upon occurrence of the headache. Tylenol (acetaminophen) #3 (with codeine) is another option you should discuss with your obstetrician. Rest and decrease stimuli exposure!
