Headache in Pregnanc: You are a very caring husband. “severe headache” of your wife needs Medical Evaluation for Diagnosis. Please take your wife to see her Ob/Gyn following her during pregnancy or to Urgent Care.

Needs immediate eval: Do not waste your time trying to find something to alleviate the headache. Get in your car right now and drive to nearest ER. Your wife needs to be evaluated for a condition called preeclampsia. Delaying evaluation could lead to seizures or worse. If and only if the evaluation is fine can she take something to alleviate symptoms. This is CRITICAL- get her evaluated NOW!
