Is there a side effect of using rotacaps and tablets for treating asthma for long time?

Varies with patients: If rotocaps contain steroids, they would be one part of the asthma treatment. Other meds include ipatropium, bronchodilators, singulair, (montelukast) etc... One can work with his doctor to decrease medicine use, but if the choice is between using inhalers or being sick, it is better to use the meds and not be sick. Each patient should find what is the most effective combination of meds for him.
