Decrease to 2: Pulmicort is an inhaled corticosteroid that is used to control underlying airway inflammation in patients with asthma. The typical use is twice daily. If your symptoms are under good control and you've been using it 3 times a day, you can decrease to 2 times a day. Of course you should check with the physician that originally prescribed it to you.
