How is anti-aging medicine (aam) different from geriatrics? is anti-aging medicine (aam) different from geriatrics?

Nutrition: Aam deals with biochemical aspect understanding of nutritional issues/deficencies of each medical condition. Geriatrics deals with prevention, promotion, preservation and independence but little training on nutrtional management. Both aam and geriatrics do manage what we call successful aging.

Yes; great question!: Both are about increasing healthful (or at least comfortable) lifespan, but anti-aging takes a more preventative approach by teaching and emphasizing lifestyle choices such as excellent nutrition, exercise and hormone optimization, while geriatrics focuses more on the management of diseases of aging. Anti-aging, also called Age Management medicine, has incorporated Regenerative medicine.
