Folliculitis: Basically, you are describing folliculitis in the groin region. Folliculitis can occur with shaving and is inflammation of the hair follicle due to the trauma of the shaving. See your doctor for topical treatments to use to alleviate this. For now, as a temporary fix, you may use over the counter Cortaid (hydrocortisone) to this area, but do not use for long term use.
