No difference: Hydrocele surgery does not affect nerves or blood vessels to or from the penis. Thus no reason to be concerned about fewer erections.

No: No physiologic relationship between the two. However, if you were embarrassed or inhibited by the hydrocele, it may have inhibited ability to obtain an erection. This may improve with resolution of the hydrocele.
