Serious problem: The BP numbers are both used to diagnose hypertension. In general, the top number (systolic) is the one best correlated with outcomes;however the bottom one (diastolic) has been used as well. Regardless, that number being over 100 puts you at high risk of heart attacks and strokes.You need urgent care to bring it down, and likely more than one medicine in addition to thyroid treatment.
