See a doctor: You need to see a pediatric psychiatrist to get a recommendation. For kid at that age, there's not many medications for it. Most of medications are for age above 12.

There are options: But 1st make sure the treating md is expert & that the diagnosis is valid. Bipolar may manifest in various ways. I find it best to focus on the symptoms that are resulting in the child being dysfunctional (eg. Anger, rage, aggression, mania, depression, irritability, hyperactivity, etc). Often, that's the best way to initiate psychoactive medication treatment. Get started & the answers will emerge.
