More than they do.: Ideal fluid intake will depend on what disease states are present, what medications they are on, are there reasons to restrict fluid (such as hyponatremia), how active vs sedentary the person. A healthy active adult without significant medical problems: body weight in pounds divided by 2, then subtract 20, in ounces. So, dr k, at 170, should be drinking 65 ounces (my own concoction) per day.

If not sick...: A simple equation to help adults figure their fluid needs is that for every pound of body weight, you need about half an ounce of fluid intake per day.  for instance, if you weigh 140 lbs., simply multiply 140 by .5 to estimate your daily fluid needs in ounces, then divide by 8 to estimate your fluid needs in cups per day, rounding up to the nearest full cup.

How can I determine the best days to try to get pregnant?

Dr. Patrick Weix

Many methods.: The week around ovulation is the best time to get pregnant. Having sex daily or every other day during that week gives the same preg rate. If you have regular cycles, 14 days before your cycle should start is the most likely ovulation day. If you can do an ovulation calendar with basal temp check and cervical mucus, that is even more accurate. Ovulation testing kits (available otc) are even better.

My baby is one month and 25 days she just took the rota vaccinatin and vommited right after 2 minutes is that ok or do I have to repeat the vaccination?

Repeat if desired: A general "rule of thumb" for oral meds is any vomiting within 15 minutes loses all the med & if needed it can be repeated. Vomiting after 30 minutes not so much.I try to let a kids stomach settle for an hour or so before repeating any med. I'm not a particular fan of this vaccine & don't consider it one of the must haves.

Need Gynecology Eval: Vaginal bleeding is not always your menstrual peiod. Sometimes women get miscarriages that happen about the time that they expect their periods. Also, there are a lot of conditions that can develop in the uterus that can cause bleeding such as fibroids, uterine polyps, cancer, infections, etc. Your sister should go and see her pcp or a gynecologist for an evaluation of her vaginal bleeding.

Is it safe to take more than one prenatal vitamin per day?

Why?: You should stick to your doctor's advice; i generally recommend avoiding more than 1 pnv pill daily mainly due to concerns about hypervitaminosis a - possible teratogen. You can take additional Folic Acid and calcium/iron as needed though, on top of the regular pnv dose.
