Variable: Patients with cirrhosis can present in a variety of ways. You may have physical exam findings or stigmata of chronic liver disease, such as spider angiomata or palmar erythema. It may be found incidentally after an unrelated lab or radiologic study. You may present initially with life-threatening complications. Alternatively, it may never be detected, until autopsy, if one is performed.
