Yes/No: Teeth are formed. So, if the teeth are bad - defective, then it had to be from when they were formed as a child. If the teeth are okay but are deteriorating - it may be more from habit/diet than a condition. If it is a gum issue - then yes a systemic condition can affect the gums. The only other thing that could affect the teeth - is acid - so whether from soft drinks or reflux - be careful.

Chronic bad teeth: There are a few different things that can lead to chronic bad teeth. Poor oral hygiene is number one! other things such as dry mouth is another big one. Many people have conditions where they need to take medications and the meds. Cause dry mouth, which can lead to rampant caries. They are other conditions where if a pregnant mother took meds. During pregnancy that can affect the babies teeth.
