This is completely opposite of having guardianship which means total personal and property due to lack of capacity. It is an ideal person who has physical or mental condition or who needs better protection. The conservatorship is time consuming process and costly.

The exact definition: may differ from State to State however generally means legal "control" over the financial resources of an individual deemed incompetent or otherwise lmited by age or health reasons in the ability to care for such matters themselves.
