A member asked:

Does the mmr vaccine have anything to do with autism?

14 doctors weighed in across 3 answers

NO!: Absolutely not. The original study linking the MMR vaccine to autism was flawed and has been discounted and the lead author has had his medical license taken away! there have been multiple studies looking for an association between the vaccine and autism and none has been found. It is especially important to get since we are seeing outbreaks of measles.

No: Vaccines have been exonerated from any impact on causing autism over the last ten years of vigorous study. Not giving your child MMR exposes them to the devastation of measles mumps or rubella. Not nice to see a child die from measles.

No - No - No: I can't say it enough, especially since measles is making a comeback in the world because everyone freaked out about this when a researcher/physician lied about his research and falsified results so he could sell his vaccine to the world. Avoid brain inflammation (encephalitis) and worse today - get your child their MMR and the booster today!
