Depends on where: They are. Some spurring is an x-ray finding , not the cause of the symptoms. Other spurs are responsible for the pain and may have to be removed surgically.

Yes: It is always concerning when you have pain. I would make an appointment with a podiatrist.There are many treatments for bone spurs.

Possibly: If the xray findings are consistent with your clinical history, then there may be need to do something about them. Otherwise a number of bony changes in the foot have no direct symptoms. For example, many more people have heel spurs than have heel pain and if the heel pain is treated without surgery, there usually is no need to do anything about the heel spur.
