OBESITY: Lossing weight is very challenging. Getting surgery is not always succesful.Having 4 kids to take care, you do not want to risk your life to having or without promise of lossing weight. If you have tried dieting without success, perhaps see a nutritionist who can guide in selecting low calorie food plus exercise. Good luck!

Diet and Exercise: I know this is the standard answer, but that is because it is still the best. Decreasing your caloric intake, and increasing your exercise is still the best way to lose weight in the long run.
