Ovulation: A sticky stretchy mucousy discharge that occurs around the time of ovulation (usually midcycle, about cycle day 13 to 15) is a normal occurrence, sometimes called "fertile mucous". Estrogen peaks at the time of ovulation causing this change. It is nothing you need to worry about.
