Healthy Diet: Avoid saturated and trans fats. Other fats (polyunsaturated and monounsaturated) are helpful and should constitute approximately 20 - 30 percent of total daily calories. Avoid highly refined and high sugar carbohydrates. Instead, focus on fresh fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, beans, and limited amounts of whole grains as your chief carbs. Eat several servings of cold water / oily fish per week.
