Aggressive form: The tall-cell variant of papillary thyroid cancer is a more aggressive tumor than common-type papillary cancer. It accounts for about 1% of papillary cancers and is characterized by tumor cells with eosinophilic cytoplasm that are twice as tall as they are wide. The primary tumors tend to be large, often invasive, and many patients have both local and distant metastases at time of diagnosis.

More aggressive: This is a form of thyroid cancer that has a worse prognosis than the typical papillary cancer. It is not the worst form of thyroid cancer. This is also associated with a mutation in the cancer cells call b-raf. There are some new drugs that attack this kind of tumor in later stage.
