Is it normal for a ruptured eardrum to still hurt after two days of antibiotics?

Occasionally: After your ear drum ruptures, the pain is usually resolved. With infection still present it could hurt. The ear drum could have also rehealed and pressure built back up, even after 2 days. Need to see an ent.
