Surgical Clip: Bummer. Means you are tongue tied and can't do any french kissing. Seriously, a simple 20 minute surgery to clip the tissue and place sutures can resolve the problem

Frenectomy: Ankyloglossia can be corrected by performing a lingual frenectomy. In this procedure, the tendon that connects the underside of the tongue to the floor of the mouth is severed. Either a traditional scalpel or laser procedure can be performed by a periodontist, oral surgeon, or these days, any dentist or dental specialist who is laser-certified.
