Why?: Like the body, the brain, too, needs rest. If this is interfering with activities, try to schedule times when you can deliberately allow and encourage your mind to enter an empty state. Many meditative practices, and certain kinds of prayer, too, employ this state as part of a rounded spiritual life. That, in turn, energizes one physically (among other benefits).
