An approach for kids: Play therapy covers a wide array of interventions often used especially with younger children as a way of engaging them and getting information indirectly about what is bothering them. There is not a single form of play therapy, and it can be used in many ways from just providing structure to the session to actually being a key part of therapy itself.

Play Therapy: Play therapy is really a constellation of techniques that have been used with children. Play can be interpreted in words, especially in young children (<12 years) who are not developmentally or emotionally able to express feelings through verbal means.
