Pretty good: Most of stroke patients do survive but with some disability. People affected with hemorrhagic stroke are at risk of death depending on severity.

Depends: It depends on type and location of the stroke. Volume of brain involved, patients age, and comorbidities (whether they are also diabetic, smoker, have elevated cholesterol, heart disease etc.).
