Strokes: There is no number - it all depends on the type of stroke and the area involved. People have dies just from one stroke - yet others have had repeated strokes and survived.

Strokes: You can die of even one stroke. Some people suffer multiple "mini-strokes" or transient ischemic attacks, and survive, but end up with a form of dementia from these.

The answer varies: There is not a single answer to this question. It may be a person can survive more than ten strokes, or die after just one. It really depends on where they are, how large they are, and whether any bleeding or recovery occurs.
