Can you take advil (ibuprofen) after you took dimetapp?

Yes: Yes you can. Dimetapp contains phenylproponalamine and brompheniramine only.

Depends: There are multiple variations in formulas for the dimetapp brand. Check the ingredients, if your particular type contains Ibuprofen (advil (ibuprofen)), then taking it right after taking advil (ibuprofen) would be taking two doses of Ibuprofen which is probably not recommended (depending on the total dosage).
