Philosophical questi: Your guess is as good as mine - this is an existential/philosophical point. From a biological standpoint, the fertilized egg is a living organism, but fully dependent on maternal support to survive. If you are asking about the origin of consciousness in utero, it probably cannot exist before 24 weeks due to fetal brain development (and likely much later than that).
